Boris (aboce right on left side of sofa)is our store mascot, and since we opened, he has been quite happy in that role. After all he gets a lot of attention, and now he sees himself as somewhat of a fashionista given his secondary role as "Model."We recently named him as our new Director of Security, after all who wants to pick a fight with a Polar Bear? Boris has been a hit with younger knitters, especially Boris' grandchildren, and other relatives who have visited him. He recently made friends with Snoopy who provides a sense of class to the mascot mix.

At The Knitting Patch you will find a wide variety of knitted examples. While thse are offered for sale, their real purpose is to provide our customers with finished examples of what is possible. We are always adding to our knitting gallery (examples), and when we receive new yarns we try to make an example from that yarn so that you can see for yourself how it knits. In many stores, these examples are provided by the yarn manufacturers to help sell their products. However, at The Knitting Patch all of our examples are hand knitted by our Chief Knitting Officer (CKO). Accordingly, if you are not entirely comfortable undertaking the task, The Knitting Patch can offer you expert guidance in the form of formal classes and or project assistance to ensure your success. Our CKO has won many awards for her knitting in past competitions. The following photos depict some of the examples you will see at The Knitting Patch.
